Licensing Requirements

Applicants are required to meet defined criteria before a licence may be issued.

  • Proof of identity

  • Boxing experience or relevant professional background

  • Medical clearance where applicable

  • Previous licensing history

  • Disclosure of suspensions or disciplinary matters

  • Agreement to follow WPBC rules and regulations

WPBC reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or revoke any licence in order to protect the integrity and safety of professional boxing.

Medical and Safety Standards

Participant safety is a core requirement of WPBC licensing.

Professional boxers must meet medical and safety requirements prior to approval. WPBC may require medical examinations, clearance documentation, and ongoing compliance checks.

No boxer should participate in a sanctioned contest unless they meet the required medical and safety standards.

Licence Review and Approval

Applications are reviewed by WPBC before approval is granted.

Approval is not automatic. WPBC may request further information, supporting documents, or verification before issuing a licence.

Once approved, licence holders are expected to maintain professional conduct and comply with WPBC rules at all times.
